Written entirely in solfa notation, this through-composed anthem is ideal for the Communion rite. It weaves the solemn words of the institution narrative—"Take this all of you and eat"—with a joyful call to receive the "saving Victim of Love." The music guides the voices through a reverent meditation, culminating in a glorious doxology to the Trinity and a resounding, layered chorus of Amens that brings the piece to a powerful close.
