Fac mecum signum

The text of Fac mecum signum is a plea for a sign from God, a request for divine intervention and a demonstration of His power. The composer Andreas de Silva sets this earnest prayer in a rich TTB setting. This sacred motet, written in Latin, explores the devotional quality of the text through its musical setting. The composer's skill in crafting vocal lines for three male voices ensures a resonant and powerful delivery of this deeply felt supplication. The direct address to the divine makes this a compelling choice for services or concerts seeking to convey a sense of spiritual longing and the hope for a miraculous sign.
