Exultate justi in Domino by Philipp Dulichius — Lyrics
About Exultate justi in Domino
Philipp Dulichius was a German composer of the late Renaissance and early Baroque periods. His motet Exultate justi in Domino is a powerful setting of a Latin text drawn from Psalm 32. The psalm is a jubilant call to praise God for his righteous word and mighty deeds. Dulichius divides the choir into two SATB groups, creating opportunities for antiphonal effects and rich harmonic textures as the text moves from exhortations to praise to declarations of God's power and faithfulness.
