Evening Service in G

Charles Macpherson’s Evening Service in G is a setting of the traditional English Evening Canticles, the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis. This sacred work is composed for SATB choir. The music beautifully underscores the devotional nature of the texts, offering a reflective and uplifting experience. It is suitable for services where a substantial and engaging setting of these familiar liturgical texts is desired, allowing the choir to explore rich harmonies and expressive melodic lines within a traditional framework.
