Well may thy Praise our Lips employ,
While in thy Temple we appear,
Whose Goodness crowns the circling Year.
Wide as the Wheels of Nature roll

Thomas Clark’s Eternal Source of every Joy is a sacred hymn for SATB choir, sung in English. The text celebrates the boundless goodness of God, evident throughout the changing seasons. It opens by affirming that divine praise should occupy our lips as we gather in God’s temple, acknowledging a goodness that graces the entire year.
