French composer Remi Studer wrote En toi Seigneur, nos vies reposent for SATB choir. This is a sacred setting of a French hymn text. The lyrics speak of finding rest and strength in God, especially during dark times, and of His preparation for a new dawn. The text continues with a plea for God to see the suffering of humanity and grant them the joy of love. It concludes with an invocation to the resurrected Son of God, asking for deliverance from evil and guidance towards His light, acknowledging Him as the victor over darkness.
