About Dum turba plurima a 8
Romolo Naldi sets a passage from the Gospel of Luke, describing Jesus teaching the crowds by the Sea of Galilee. As a great multitude gathers and people come to him from every town, he tells the parable of the sower. The text vividly depicts the different soils and the fate of the seed, contrasting the barren ground with the fertile earth that yields a hundredfold. Naldi’s setting is for double choir (SATB.SATB) in Latin. This sacred motet explores the profound imagery of the parable, urging listeners to heed its message with the concluding call: 'He who has ears to hear, let him hear.'
