Dona nobis pacem

This sacred Latin motet Dona nobis pacem is suitable for services throughout the liturgical year, particularly during times of prayer for peace. The four-part SSAA setting by Mariano Garau offers a rich opportunity for expressive choral singing. The composer's setting of the simple, profound plea for peace allows the text to resonate clearly, creating a contemplative and moving experience for both performers and listeners. Its straightforward yet effective musical language makes it an accessible addition to a choir's sacred repertoire.
