Dominator Domine a 16

Iacopo Corfini’s striking motet Dominator Domine is written for a substantial eight-part choir, divided into two equally-sized SATB choirs, with the second choir featuring a particularly rich and sonorous bass foundation. The Latin text, taken from a prayer, calls upon God as the Lord and Creator of all, asking for his attention to the pleas of his servants.
