Ding, dong! Merrily on high

About Ding Dong Merrily On High
This cheerful arrangement of the popular Christmas carol Ding Dong Merrily on High paints a vivid scene of celebration both in heaven and on earth. The text describes heavenly bells ringing and angels singing, while urging earthly ringers to swing their steeple bells and singers to raise their voices in song. The composer, Geoff Allan, sets this jubilant English text for SATB choir. The music aims to capture the joyous spirit of the words, bringing together the sacred theme of Christmas with a sense of lively, communal rejoicing. It is a fitting choice for any Christmas concert or service.
