About Die Heere moet u dan
André Vierendeels composed this sacred motet, Die Heere moet u dan, for SAB choir. The Dutch text is a prayer for divine protection and favour, drawing on biblical imagery of God's steadfast support and presence. The lyrics express a deep trust in God's power to deliver and comfort in times of distress, invoking His aid from His holy place and promising peace. This motet offers a profound musical setting of a devotional text, suitable for contemplation and spiritual reflection.
