About Den lofsanck Augustini
The text of Den lofsanck Augustini is a grand hymn of praise, with the choir declaring God as their pure Lord, and the whole earth proclaiming Him as their eternal Father. Angels, heavenly powers, Cherubim, and Seraphim are invoked, all joining in unceasing, steadfast praise. This setting is for SAB choir and Dutch lyrics. It is a sacred work within the hymn tradition, drawing on rich theological language to express profound reverence and adoration.
