Cum processit factura

As the creation unfolded, guided by the finger of God and formed in his image, the elements rejoiced in you, O praiseworthy Mary. This unison antiphon, set in Latin, draws on the Marian tradition to express a profound sense of divine order and celestial celebration. The text evokes a spiritual landscape where the very elements of existence respond to the Virgin Mary's presence, painting a picture of heavenly praise and radiant glory. Hildegard's evocative words lend themselves to a performance that emphasizes clarity and spiritual depth, making this a compelling addition to any sacred choral programme.
