Credo by Charles West — Lyrics
I Believe in God
Supreme and All Mighty, Father of all fathers, Who is before all that has passed and beyond all that is to come.
I believe in Jesus Christ
Who is One with the Father; Who was born as flesh and lived in this world; Whose glory was witnessed; Who died on the Cross and was buried; Who returned to life and to His Father to reveal His Authority.

About Credo
This setting of the Nicene Creed is ideal for services during the church's seasons, particularly Trinity Sunday. Charles West crafts a strong, declarative SATB anthem in English, reflecting the solemnity and conviction of the text. The music will likely support the theological weight of the Credo, with a clear setting of the 'I Believe' statements about God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. The final affirmation of the Trinity, 'these three are one,' offers a powerful conclusion to this significant act of Christian faith, making it a substantial addition to any Anglican service.
