CONGRATULATION!

"Congratulation!" by Jude Nnam is a joyful, upbeat piece perfect for marking special milestones in the life of a parish or its members. When celebrating an ordination, a wedding anniversary, a graduation, or a special thanksgiving, choirs bring this out to share in the joy of the moment.

The lyrics are simple and direct, bursting with celebratory cheers like "Bravo!" and "Hip hip hurrah!" The song acknowledges the hard work behind the success—singing "there is a new feather added to your cap for this remarkable feat you have achieved"—while firmly pointing the ultimate praise back to heaven with the repeated phrase, "God has done it!"

Sung entirely in English, the lively arrangement keeps the energy high from start to finish. It is the kind of piece that gets the whole congregation smiling and clapping along, turning a personal achievement into a shared moment of community thanksgiving.
