Condor

Vuela raudo el condor, the condor flies swiftly, soaring through the sky and becoming entangled in the clouds before finally flying free. This vivid Spanish text is brought to life in a setting for SATB choir. Javier Fajardo’s work captures the sense of freedom and the majestic flight described in the lyrics. It is a secular piece, ideal for a choir looking for evocative and atmospheric part-music with a strong narrative quality. The imagery of the condor’s journey offers a powerful emotional arc, making it a compelling choice for concert programming.
