About Come, sound His praise abroad
This stirring SATB anthem is ideal for services of thanksgiving and general praise. The text, drawn from Psalm 95, calls for all creation to sound God's praise and declare Him the sovereign Lord and universal King. It urges us to worship at His throne, acknowledging our creation by His word, and to attend His voice with humble hearts. The music is set to an English text, ending with a traditional doxology giving glory to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Harry Hale Pike's setting would serve well in a variety of congregational settings.
