Refrain:
"Glory unto God on high,"
Joyful Angels make reply.
2. Lo! The Star! Lo! The Star!
Guides the wise men from afar.
Now it stays! Now it stays!
In the manger offer praise:

About Christ is Born! Christ is Born!
Geoffrey Shaw’s Christmas carol Christ is Born! Christ is Born! is a joyful celebration of the Nativity. Set for SATB choir, this English-language anthem unfolds the story of Christ’s birth with clear, direct text. The lyrics invite listeners to share in the universal message of this sacred occasion, from the angels' proclamation of glory to the wise men's adoration and the shepherds' humble praise. The refrain, echoing the angels' song, reinforces the central theme of peace on earth and gratitude for the Virgin birth. Its straightforward narrative and exultant refrain make it an accessible and uplifting choice for any Christmas service.
