Capetown

A simple and direct anthem for solo voice, Capetown is ideal for services in a more intimate setting, or for a soloist to lead the congregation in song. The English text speaks of the light and joy of God's presence, offering a message of hope and reassurance. Its straightforward melodic line and unadorned harmonic language make it readily accessible for choirs of all abilities. The composer Alan Gray has crafted a piece that is both uplifting and spiritually reflective, suitable for many occasions throughout the church's year.
