About Break forth into joy
This anthem is ideal for Christmas services, celebrating the birth of Christ. Bruce Steane sets the familiar biblical text with great energy, calling the choir to "Break forth into joy" with exclamations of "Hallelujah!" The SATB voicing allows for rich harmonies as the choir proclaims the good tidings of a Saviour born in the city of David. The music mirrors the jubilant message of the lyrics, making it a powerful and uplifting choice for congregational singing during the festive season.
