Benedictus sit Deus

Blessed be God the Father, the only-begotten Son of God, and the Holy Spirit, because he has shown us his mercy. These words, drawn from liturgical sources, form the basis of Wilhelm Meyer Lutz's setting. Written for SATB choir, the Latin text speaks of divine blessing and mercy, offering a moment of profound reflection. The composer's skillful handling of the sacred text creates a rich and resonant musical expression suitable for liturgical occasions. The work invites singers to convey the solemnity and grace inherent in the message, providing a meaningful addition to any choral repertoire focused on devotion.
