About Benedicta sit
The words express praise to the Holy Trinity, acknowledging God’s mercy shown to us. The text continues with a blessing of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This SAT setting of the Latin antiphon is suitable as an entrance song, offering a moment of reflection and devotion at the beginning of a service. The anonymous composer has crafted a sacred work that is direct and prayerful in its expression.
