Benedicite Dominum omnes electi eius

Josquino della Sala’s setting of Benedicite Dominum omnes electi eius is a sacred motet for SATTB choir. The Latin text, drawn from Psalm 149, calls upon the faithful to praise God. It urges joyful celebration and confession to Him, proclaiming a hymn for all His saints and for the people of Israel drawing near to Him. The motet offers a rich, polyphonic setting for a substantial choir, exploring the celebratory and reverent message of the text through intricate vocal interplay. This work would be a powerful addition to services or concerts focusing on praise and divine favour.
