This jubilant motet by Jacob Handl offers a perfect celebratory anthem for a choir. Sung in Latin, the text is a liturgical acclamation, praising God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and exalting Him for ever. The voicing for double choir (SSATTB) provides opportunities for rich polyphony and antiphonal effects, ideal for a grand setting such as a major feast day or dedication.
