Beata Mater et intacta Virgo

This sacred motet by Francesco Stivori is ideal for Marian services or general liturgical occasions. Composed for SATTB choir, its Latin text is a prayer to the Blessed Mother and Virgin. The words implore her to intercede for us with the Lord. Stivori's setting, in the rich tradition of Renaissance sacred polyphony, offers a devotional focus, suitable for moments of contemplation and prayer within a service. The clear, direct plea of the text is matched by the clarity of the SATTB voicing, making it an accessible yet profound choice for choirs seeking devotional repertoire.
