Beata Dei genitrix Maria

This sacred motet by Francisco Valls is suitable for liturgical occasions or Marian devotions. Sung in Latin, Beata Dei genitrix Maria sets a text of praise and intercession to the Virgin Mary. The choir, in four parts (ST.SATB), will find rich harmonies and contrapuntal lines as they explore the devotional text. The music moves from the profound meditation on Mary's unique place in God's plan to a fervent plea for her intercession for all people, clergy, and women. The final Alleluia offers a joyful affirmation.
