About B - 4. neděle postní
This responsory by Karel Bříza is suitable for the fourth Sunday of Lent, a period of solemn reflection. Sung in Czech by a S and T duet, it sets a poignant text of exile and longing for Jerusalem. The lyrics vividly describe the sorrow of the Israelites by the rivers of Babylon, unable to sing the Lord's songs in a foreign land, and their fervent declarations of remembrance for their beloved city.
