Auferstehungslied by Robert Führer — Lyrics

About Auferstehungslied

Robert Führer's Auferstehungslied is a SATB setting of a German sacred text. The music opens with a strong, declarative statement, setting a mood of triumphant joy. The voices move in homophony, reinforcing the text's message of Christ's resurrection. The piece celebrates the victory over death, the atonement, and the promise of salvation. It emphasizes themes of hope, light, peace, and healing, and looks forward to the believer's own resurrection. The setting moves between moments of powerful proclamation and more reflective passages, building to exultant refrains of "Halleluja" that underscore the profound significance of the Easter message.
