Arderò

Carlotta Ferrari's Arderò is a poignant setting of Italian text, sung by SATB choir. The composer captures the evocative imagery of the lyrics, which speak of a fading flame among autumn flowers, consumed by the sun. Ferrari's music likely reflects this tender yet melancholic sentiment, creating a rich harmonic landscape for the choir. This secular work offers a moment of introspection, exploring themes of transience and beauty through its carefully crafted vocal lines and expressive Italian text. It is an ideal piece for choirs looking to explore contemporary Italian choral music with a distinctly emotional core.
