Angst hat die lieb

The composer expresses a heart full of love that grows daily, a love that can be declared with propriety and honour. This German Lieder setting for SATTB voices captures the intimate and personal nature of the text. It is a secular piece, typical of the genre, where emotional expression is paramount. The rich vocal texture offered by the five parts allows for a deep exploration of the sentiments, creating a compelling sound world for the choir to inhabit.
