About And They Proclaimed
Joseph Knapicius's And They Proclaimed is a vibrant setting for SATB choir of a rich biblical text. Taken from the Book of Revelation, the words express profound adoration, proclaiming "Blessing, honour, glory and power" to God and the Lamb. The music reflects the text's exultant and reverent nature, ideal for a celebratory occasion within a sacred service. The SATB voicing allows for a full and resonant sound, capable of conveying the immense power and majesty described in the lyrics. It is a compelling choice for choirs seeking a powerful anthem to inspire devotion and awe, particularly during moments of thanksgiving or reflection on divine glory.
