An Deutschland, WoO 38 by Josef Rheinberger — Lyrics
Sei gegrüßt du Heldenwiege
Land der Milde, Land der Kraft!
Stets erringe neue Siege
so im Frieden wie im Kriege
durch den Geist, der in dir schafft
Ehre dem erles´nen Helden
den des Reiches Wille führt
der gestärkt vom Herrn der Welten
Treu um Treue zu vergelten
hohen Sinns das Zepter führt
Alle Fürsten wohlberaten
folgen ihm mit Herz und Hand
und sie segnen seine Taten
wenn sie über reiche Saaten
schauen in ihr glücklich Land
