About Amor quando fioriva
Amor quando fioriva paints a scene of lost love and despair. The speaker laments that his hope and guide, once flourishing, has been taken away by cruel fate. His life is now filled with sorrow, and his hopes are extinguished, leaving him with a painful existence against his will. He longs to follow his beloved, but she does not permit it. Yet, he affirms that his lady remains present in his heart, and she knows the suffering of his life.
