Alleluia
About Alleluja
Luca Purchiaroni sets the single word Alleluia in this sacred liturgical work. The composer’s setting is for SATB choir and is sung in Latin. The text, a powerful expression of praise, is treated with repeated affirmations that build in intensity. Purchiaroni’s music provides a robust and celebratory setting of this most fundamental liturgical acclamation, suitable for many sacred occasions.
