All will be Well by Geoff Allan — Lyrics
Where do we begin? Begin with the heart.
“God, of thy goodness, give me Thyself;
for Thou art enough for me,
and I can ask for nothing less
that can be full honour to Thee.
And if I ask anything that is less,
ever Shall I be in want,
for only in Thee have I all.”

About All will be Well
Geoff Allan's setting of All Will Be Well is a poignant exploration of spiritual devotion. Scored for SATB choir, this English-language work draws inspiration from contemplative texts, emphasizing the intimate connection between the soul and the divine. The lyrics, originating from contemplative Christian tradition, speak of God's all-encompassing love, which extends to the smallest and humblest aspects of existence. The text assures that in God, one finds everything, and that ultimately, all will be well. Allan's music aims to capture the profound peace and assurance conveyed by these words, making it a deeply moving experience for both choir and listeners. It is a reflective piece suitable for contemplation.
