All Of My Life.

"All Of My Life" is a joyful, straightforward hymn of thanksgiving that draws its inspiration directly from Psalm 103. With its bright, memorable refrain—"All of my life, I will praise the living God"—it captures the essence of a grateful heart. The short, punchy verses walk through the many reasons for this praise: God's pardon, His protection, His enduring mercy, and the ultimate gift of the Bread of Life.

In the choir loft, this piece is highly versatile and easy to teach. Its stacked-verse structure allows the congregation to confidently join in the refrain while the choir, or even a solo cantor, takes the brief verses. Because it touches on themes of salvation and the Eucharist, it serves beautifully as a Communion hymn, but its upbeat tempo and message of lifelong praise also make it a wonderful Recessional, sending the faithful out with a spirit of joy.

The attached score also includes a short setting of the Divine Praises, "Blessed Be God," which is traditionally sung during Benediction and Adoration to honour the Lord's holy name.
