Agnello di Dio II

The Agnello di Dio II sets the familiar Latin text of the Agnus Dei, the Lamb of God, in Italian. This unison setting is a direct and prayerful meditation on the supplication for mercy and peace. Its simplicity allows the profound theological weight of the words to resonate clearly, making it suitable for services where a moment of quiet contemplation is desired. The composer Paolo Pandolfo crafts a devotional setting that is both accessible and emotionally resonant, focusing on the spiritual core of this integral part of the Mass.
