ABC - Sv. Jana Evangelisty by Karel Bříza — Lyrics

About ABC - Sv. Jana Evangelisty
Karel Bříza composed this setting of a Czech responsory for two voices, Soprano and Tenor. The text, taken from Psalm 97, speaks of God's reign and the joy that the righteous find in Him. It praises His justice and righteousness, and the light that shines upon the upright. The music likely reflects the exultant and majestic nature of the words, offering a powerful sacred work for a select vocal ensemble.
