About A Christmas Round
Denis Mason’s A Christmas Round is a joyful setting of a traditional Latin text for SATB choir. The words celebrate the Nativity of Christ, proclaiming his birth and the appearance of the Saviour. Angels and Archangels sing on earth, while the righteous rejoice, all declaring Gloria in excelsis Deo. The piece is designed as a round, offering a lively and engaging musical experience that perfectly captures the celebratory spirit of Christmas.
